Steiner Academy Lincolnshire

With a heavy heart and after great debate and deliberation the committee of the Steiner Academy Lincolnshire project have decided that a Free School proposal will not be viable. This is due to a number of factors but none more than the fact that our vision of a Steiner School does not fit with DfE and government restrictions on education. As a result of this unanimous decision many of the current committee members no longer feel they can take the project forward. Huge thank you to Andrea Scott-Jones, Kirsty Chamberlain and Bee Dean for all your hard work and dedication.

In order for a Steiner School in Lincolnshire to become a reality we are now looking to ‘organically grow’ a school. This would mean starting with a small kindergarten (3-5 year olds) and developing the school year on year. As a result of the work and contacts made to date there are several possibilities for the project to come into fruition. However this requires the formation of a new committee asap. If you would be interested in joining the committee or would like to know more about the project going forward please email us.

Thank you for your continued support.
